Discover Our Range of Bronze Gear Pumps
Close Coupled
The motor and pump are directly coupled, without an intermediate shaft or external bearing. Compact design, often used where space saving is important.
Technical Specification:
Flows up to 60 GPM (227 LPM)
Pressures to 150 PSIG (10.3 bar)
Bronze & SST Wetted Components
Carbon Bearings, Self-Lub
Up to 1 ½” (38mm) in size
Motor Options Available
Pedestal
Pump mounted on a so-called bearing base (pedestal), which requires connection to the engine via a shaft and clutch. Typical in industrial applications, where the rigidity of the system and the possibility of servicing the drive elements separately are important.
Technical Specification:
Flow 0 to 170 GPM (643 LPM)
Pressure 0 to 150 PSIG (10.3 bar)
Up to 2” (51mm) in size
Bronze Corrosion Resistant Casting
Stainless Steel Shafts & Fasteners
Heavy Duty Carbon Bearings (self-lub)
Optional Lip Seals & Mechanical Seals
Multiple Options on Motor Drives
Carbonator
This type of gear pump is used in the food industry, especially in the production of carbonated drinks (hence the name "carbonator"). Often made of stainless steel, designed to circulate liquids under pressure.
Technical Specification:
Flows to 4 GPM (15 LPM)
Pressures to 150 PSIG (10.3 bar)
Port Sizes to 3/8” (9.5 mm)
Bronze Body & Bronze Spur Gears
Self-lubricating Carbon Bearings
Buna N Lip Seal & Mechanical Seal available
Uses a circular clamp, similar to a hose clamp, as means of attaching the pump to a machined hub on a Carbonator motor.
Advantages are compactness and economy due to the elimination of the adapter casting
